Kelsey Mard is a Charlotte, NC–based fine art photographer known for her quiet, contemplative imagery. Working primarily with 35mm and medium format film, she creates photographs that display themes of connection, nature, and moments of stillness—expressing a timeless sensitivity and soulful simplicity through her work.​

 

Kelsey’s creative nature and passion for the arts started at a young age, and was encouraged and supported by her parents and grandparents. She attended summer programs at SCAD and NC State, and ultimately studied Art at East Carolina University. Upon graduating, she pursued a career in art direction and portrait photography, and has continued to refine her artistic voice and discerning eye for the past decade. 

 

She currently lives in Charlotte with her husband and two dogs, Finn and Moose. Her dedication to film photography and her calm and curious demeanor continue to shape her body of work— inviting viewers to slow down, take a deep breath, and find meaning in the small moments.
