Ann Travis is a finance professional who always yearned for expressing her creative side. She produced graphite portraits in her free time before turning even more of her attention to painting.

She became deeply immersed in oil painting after rekindling her early love of creating during a Disney Animator Studio class in 2011.

Disappearing into her paintings while she creates allows her to find a peaceful flow, translating into the sense of tranquility reflected in her work.

In her oil paintings, she captures nature's serene beauty and is inspired by flora and coastal landscapes. Her work invites viewers into a peaceful world filled with nature's ever-changing light and textures.

Ann celebrates nature's ability to soothe the soul, and she invites viewers to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the beauty around us.

Ann exhibits throughout the Charlotte region and is a member of ArtPop Street Gallery, Class of 2024.
